Coston General Contractors is proud to build the Bessemer Fire Station #2 which will entail the construction of a new standalone fire station facility located near downtown Bessemer. The building will provide sleeping units / restroom facilities, a Day Room and Kitchen, a station office, support facilities and multiple apparatus bays. Site and utility improvements will include a new access drive loop and curb cuts along 19th Street South and Carolina Avenue, as well as parking behind the fire station. The building structure will be a hybrid of light framed wood construction and a pre-engineered metal building for the apparatus bay. The exterior materials will match the aesthetic of nearby City of Bessemer facilities.
